CARMEL 64, PIKE 48

Jared Bonds, Sam Orme and Pete Suder combined for 43 points to help the 4A No. 2 Greyhounds (11-3, 4-0) remain unbeaten in the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference and in the thick of the title chase with a convincing win over the visiting Red Devils (10-3, 2-2). Carmel’s defense against Pike All-Star candidate Ryan Conwell — limiting the sharpshooter to just five points — was a key to the victory.
